A heavyweight MMA fighter has died after collapsing following his first bout in more than a 12 months.
Donshay White used to be competing in Hardrock MMA NINETY in Kentucky, where he misplaced in his clash in opposition to Ricky Muse.
Referee Gary Copeland stepped in to forestall the fight two mins and 22 seconds into the second round after White failed to halt a number of heavy blows.
The 37-year-old was responsive within the immediate aftermath of the stoppage, but took a turn for the worse and required medical consideration in the ring.
He made his personal way backstage but “collapsed and became unresponsive,” in line with martial arts news-website online Bluegrass MMA.
After receiving CPR, he was once transported to KentuckyOne Health Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Health Center, where he later died.
The explanation for loss of life is not known at this time.
It was once his first combat back because November 2015, when he knocked out Joe Johnson Jr. in a single spherical at Hardrock MMA 76.
